Did you know that there is a rowing community in Utah?  The Wasatch Rowing Foundation (an ex-officio member of the Jordan River Commission) is working to develop facilities on the Jordan River and the Surplus Canal to use for training and racing.  There are currently four crews  Great Salt Lake Rowing, Utah Crew,  Waterford Academy, and Park City Rowing Academy.    There is currently limited access to the river and the Wasatch Rowing Foundation is working to get improved facilities.  The Utah Crew (for middle school and high school age students) currently uses the Surplus Canal for training.  Check out the resources below to learn more about the future of rowing on the Jordan River and see how you can get involved in a local crew!
