Alison Stroud was born and raised in Sandy and has chosen to raise her children in the same community she has fond memories of. Alison brings the knowledge and experience of owning and operating a small business for 22 years coupled with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah in Business Management.
Alison is currently employed by Canyons School District and teaches at a local Sandy school. She earned her Master’s of Education with a leadership in administration endorsement in 2017. Partnered with the discipline and patriotism of her National Guard and Reserve experience, Alison has devoted her life to serving the public.
As a representative of District 2, Alison is passionate about keeping Sandy a thriving, inviting, and safe city that attracts residents and businesses. She is dedicated to bringing transparency, accountability, and financial responsibility to the Council.
Alison loves living, working, and raising her children in Sandy. She will work diligently to ensure all residents have the same feelings she has about Sandy City
