Bryn Johnson

Vice Chair of the Jordan River Commission and Board Representative, Jordan River Commission

Bryn grew up along the riverbanks of the Potomac River outside of Washington, DC, driving almost daily along the George Washington Memorial Parkway historic scenic road that runs along the banks of the Potomac River from George Washington’s home at Mt. Vernon into the Capital. This parkway (and the areas surrounding it) is now a national park dedicated to preserving the beauty of the river and our nation’s history. Not only does the parkway offer drivers a respite from busy city traffic, but the parks and trails along the parkway give residents and visitors alike an opportunity to enjoy the beauties of the river.

Bryn is excited to be involved in beautifying Utah’s Jordan River and creating opportunities for residents and visitors to have experiences similar to those she had growing up. Bryn currently serves on the Draper City Council. Bryn has also served on Draper’s Historic Preservation Commission and her children’s school PTA and Community Council boards. Bryn and her husband have five children.
